A refreshing look for the wine industry

Washington State Wine Commission’s new web site has been revamped from the roots up! From cozy chocolate tones to now elegant white backgrounds, the new WSWC site offers a more organized and sophisticated experience. Indeed, the new site shows more of the sunny side of our state’s growing wine industry.

Now at over 800 wineries and vineyards, WSWC came to us wishing to offer its vistors and members even better usability and a refreshed, more modern look. We listened and delivered a little more than that.

Our solution starts with gorgeous shots of the Washington State terrain to help carry WSWC’s marketing message “The Perfect Climate for Wine” throughout the site. The new refined masthead now caters to all audiences, and gives the site clear navigation by using carefully selected typography and a simplified site architecture. A more powerful interactive map allows visitors to search wine regions and plan a tour. A neat feature is that now wineries and vineyards can be found by suggestive search and are categorized by regionsthe same categorization used on WSWC’s Virtual Tour Guidewhich improved findability and speeded up search.

Additionally, elegant soft lines, textured elements and well studied colors complement and enhance the site’s usability. See it for yourself and enjoy your experience.
