Free & Clear is now Alere Wellbeing

blog_image_alere_wellbeing.jpgFree & Clear was acquired by the global healthcare company Alere in 2010 and was renamed to Alere Wellbeing. With the acquisition came the need for a site redesign to comply with the branding requirements of the new parent company. The new Alere Wellbeing website has much of the same functionality and content of the previous Free & Clear site, such as a blog, educational materials, and client support areas; plus an easy-to-navigate information architecture.

The Wellbeing Blog displays expert opinion on industry news, personal accounts of behavior change, and Alere Wellbeing news. Ply included all the standard widgets including: bloggers profiles, archive, blogroll, and archive. Of course, this ever growing database of information is easily searchable by the use of tags and categories.

Clear Insights is a suite of educational tools to support employers, health plans, and government agencies on the on-going job of improving the health and productivity of their workforce. At it’s core is a deep collection of webinars, white papers, and web articles. To complement these, Ply implemented the Alere Wellbeing Newsletter, where users can quickly read featured content from Clear Insights as well as register to receive the newsletter on a quarterly basis. Newsletter registration is integrated with SalesForce and works great as a lead generator.

The Client Recruitment Toolkit is a resourceful kit for clients packed with best practices, communications tools, and ideas for driving participation into Alere Wellbeing programs. Clients login to easily find and download promotional materials and campaigns according to their programs needs.

Uniting these three unique user experiences under one umbrella was challenging. The project brief was a bit south of complex. Seamless teamwork was imperative, and resulted in a great site as well as allowed us to meet the client’s agressive deadline, which in turn left Alere, the parent company, very satisfied.

Stay tuned as we add more features to their growing business. For now, visit Alere Wellbeing at www.alerewellbeing.com
